A classic pinafore dress with two options for length and two openings. It also comes in so you can be matching! 

Design Features:

2 shapes: dress with side opening (version 1) or front opening (version 2)

2 lengths: short (dress above the knee) or mini (under the buttocks)

Similar back for the 2 shapes. Finishes with front and back facings. One openable strap. Optional patch pockets. Deep armholes and neckline. To be worn over a tee shirt, sweater or blouse. Dress suitable for all seasons.

Suggested Fabrics:

Main fabric: canvas (cotton/linen), twill, denim, corduroy, woollens, jacquard. The dress can also be made of fleece/French Terry. 

Lining fabric for facings: light cotton fabric (cotton poplin or chambray).

You will need:

• 12 - 15 mm buttons or snap buttons (15 mm) for side opening (version 1) or front opening (version 2).
• 1 button 12 to 20 mm, or 15mm snap button for the shoulder strap.
• Thin fusible interfacing for the button tabs 90x5 cm (35x2")

Sizing:  French sizing from 32 to 52 (UK 4 - 24)

NB: The size 32 corresponds approximately to a 14 year old and the 34 to a 16 year old.
